  • A parrot can be taught to speak by following the following methods:

2- Praise and glorify the bird if it can repeat a particular word, and this can be done by uttering words of praise, such as wow or that's cool.

3- Teaching the bird new words every day, and must be based on the simple words that the bird learned from the beginning. If the parrot can say the name of its owner, it can be taught to say hello and then the name.

4- It should be noted that the bird prefers to listen to certain words, so if the bird cannot repeat a certain word during a long period of time, it can move to teach it a new word.

5- Show enthusiasm, the bird can learn new words if the owner feels excited and happy when he says these words.

6- Teaching the bird to communicate, the bird can be taught to communicate by showing it something and repeating the name of that thing, and trying to use it in a useful sentence, this method will teach the bird the meaning of the word and how to use it.

7- Teaching the bird general concepts, such as good morning and goodbye, and others. Patience and constancy are advised when teaching the bird;  Because it usually takes a long time to teach a bird.

8- Perseverance, the owner is advised to persevere and be patient with the bird, and avoid giving up, because at first the bird will only gossip and hum, but one day it will be able to utter the whole word.

  • Commit to a training routine

The fastest way to teach a parrot to speak is to prepare a training routine, and it is preferable that this routine be daily, and it must be noted that not all birds can pick up and pronounce human speech easily, so if it is discovered that the bird cannot pronounce fast to speak and that it needs a long time to speak, can be taught something a little easier like whistling;  Because many birds find that whistling is much easier than imitating speech, and the bird can be taught to speak in the case of continuous training, patience and love from the owner and attention should be paid to the sounds that the bird can imitate during the day, as the bird can imitate many of the sounds of ringing devices and phones,  In addition, social and emotional bonds with the bird are an important factor in teaching it to speak.
